Subpocket - Infinite Personal Storage
Welcome to the world of Subpocket - a mod that fundamentally changes the approach to item storage in Minecraft. This is not just another storage system, but a unique solution with its own features and limitations.
What is Subpocket?
Subpocket provides you with personal space to store virtually unlimited amounts of items. However, don't think this is an overpowered advantage - the system has its own quirks that maintain game balance.
Your subspatial storage presents an interface with a working field measuring 160×70 pixels. On this area, you can place any items in any quantity. Technically speaking, absolute infinity is impossible in computer systems, but the practical limit is so enormous that it exceeds any reasonable player needs.
Management Features
Items can be freely moved around the field with the mouse, but this is where the main challenge lies. The limited space means that with careless placement, items can overlap each other, creating real chaos in your storage.
The control system is intuitive for MouseTweaks users:
- Mouse wheel for scrolling
- Left and right clicks with various functions
- Combinations with Ctrl and Shift
- Middle click on a filled slot to refill the stack
Press Tab to switch between item quantity display modes: full information, only for selected stack, or complete hiding of numbers.
Gaining Access
To obtain this powerful storage, you must go through a challenging path:

Find a subspatial key with a 1/20 chance in stronghold chests, 1/200 in spawner chests, or an extremely rare 1/2000 chance when killing an enderman

Use the key to break an ender chest in the End. This process takes about 1-2 minutes and deals half a heart of void damage per second

It's recommended to prepare a healing system or get help from a friend on the server
In creative mode, the item is available in the "Misc" tab, and the /subpocket unlock command allows immediate access to the storage.
Additional Features
The subspatial key has unique properties:
- Breaks any block at the same speed (including bedrock, can be disabled in settings)
- No items drop when breaking blocks
- Doesn't update or rotate
- Indestructible
- Can be configured not to despawn
Obtaining Subpocket permanently blocks the use of regular ender chests (also configurable).
The /subpocket command offers rich functionality with multiple subcommands - use Tab autocompletion to view them.
For Modpack Creators
The mod is distributed under the MIT license, allowing free use in modpacks. The developer would be happy to learn about instances of using their creation.
