Super Sun

This modification fundamentally changes how the sun is displayed in the game. In the standard version of Minecraft, the sun appears white most of the time, losing its original texture. This mod fixes this issue by preserving the sun's natural color throughout the entire day.

This solution is particularly useful for resource pack and modpack creators who want to customize the appearance of the sun and moon in their projects. The mod also supports transparency in graphic files, unlike the vanilla version where only black is considered transparent.

To customize the appearance of the sun and moon, you need to add PNG images at the following paths in a resource pack:

assets/minecraft/textures/environment/sun.png - for the sun

assets/minecraft/textures/environment/moon_phases.png - for the moon

Regular players may not notice changes without using appropriate resource packs, as the mod is primarily intended for content creators.
