Switchy Proxy

An addon for Switchy that enables automatic nickname switching for individual messages based on text patterns, similar to PluralKit functionality.

Compatibility and Requirements

The mod requires the base Switchy mod as well as Styled Chat. Forge users will need additional dependencies: Connector and Forgified Fabric API.

The mod works correctly with nickname systems from Drogstyle, Styled Nicknames, and (for versions below 1.20) Drogtor.

How to Use

Adding a proxy rule to a preset is done with the command: /switchy proxy add [preset] [pattern]

In the pattern, you must specify "text" as a placeholder for the message text, which allows creating both prefixes and suffixes.

Removing a rule is done with the command: /switchy proxy remove [preset] [pattern]

When you send a chat message, use /me or /say, and the text matches your pattern, the nickname from the corresponding preset is automatically applied.
