SWUTM's Extra Desert (DISCONNECT)
Transformation of the Desert Biome
The SWUTM's Extra Desert mod significantly enhances the standard desert biome in Minecraft, not by creating a new one, but by enriching the existing one. The desert becomes more lively and diverse with the addition of unique flora, fauna, and structures.
New Vegetation
Sandy Melon
In the desert, you can now find a new type of vegetation - Sandy Melon. These melons appear in groups of 1 to 4 blocks and are quite common in the sandy expanses.
Palm Trees and Coconuts
The mod adds palm trees to the desert - trees that function like regular trees in Minecraft, but with one feature: from their leaves fall not apples, but coconuts.
Desert Wildlife
Sandy Inhabitants
The mod expands the desert fauna with the following creatures:
- Sandy Pig - regular pigs adapted to life in the desert
- Sandy Slime - slimes living in the desert that drop Sandy Slimeball
- Sandy Silverfish - special silverfish living in sandy conditions
- Sandy Villager - special villagers inhabiting desert villages
Crafting and Items
Sandy Slimeball can be used to create Sandy Sword - a unique sword available only in this mod.
Architecture and Structures
For greater variety, the mod adds several types of houses that make desert landscapes more interesting and unique.
