SystemAdditions

SystemAdditions is a magic/exploration mod for Minecraft that significantly expands the game world with new dimensions, biomes, structures, ores, and mobs.

New Dimension: Void World

Enter the Void dimension by falling into the void, usually in the End. This dangerous place is filled with aggressive creatures:

• Void Creepers explode instantly with a massive blast radius
• Void Monsters sneak up unnoticed and perform jump attacks
• Void Beast - the dimension's boss with enormous health and damage

Defeating the Void Beast rewards you with a void gem - the key item for returning to the normal world.

Void Biomes

Basic Void

The standard biome without special features.

Mushroom Void

Biome with abundant void mushrooms, some containing valuable items at the base and inside the cap.

Withered Forest

Once a lush green forest that withered from constant exposure to the void. Trees and grass have long died, preserved by the thin atmosphere.

Lush Void

Amazingly, grass here survives the harsh void climate. This is the rarest of the four biomes.

New Ores and Materials

Osmium

New metal superior to diamond in characteristics. Generates similarly to gold.

Cobalt

Metal for creating advanced redstone components. Rarity similar to iron.

Void Structures

Void Tower

Exit from the Void dimension. The portal to the normal world is located at the tower's peak. Activate it with a void gem to return home.

Void Temple

Rare structure where you can find strange ice - a new ice variant that significantly accelerates movement on it.

Additions to Main Worlds

Overworld

Added silver, mithril, and aquamarine. Mithril is an extremely rare metal for creating magic cores and powerful charms.

Nether

Sulfur, gold, and phosphorus. Phosphorus burns like coal and is used for making matches and torches. Nether gold ore drops 3 nuggets.

End

Amethyst and enderium. Amethyst will be used for magic in future updates, while enderium has high enchantability.

End Structures

End House

Small structure made of purpur blocks with added purpur glass. Contains numerous diamonds for observant explorers.

Ender Altar

Rare structure with an ender chest and mithril block in the center.

New Overworld Biomes

Cherry Hills

Forest covered with cherry trees. Harvested cherries can be eaten.

Maple Forest

Forest with maple trees. Use a tree tap on logs to collect maple sap.

Enhanced Biomes

Savanna

Added baobab trees that diversify the savanna landscape.

Technical Features

Blazing Obsidian Tools

Automatically smelt mined blocks and set attacked mobs on fire. Compatible with fortune enchantment, allowing multiple drops from iron and gold ores.

Redstone Blocks

New blocks for controlling time and weather, requiring osmium and cobalt.

Ancient Runes

Alternative item enchanting system. Create runes from silver blocks and use them in a rune enchanter to apply enchantments to tools.

Future Updates

The Etherlands

New dimension in development - world of floating islands with ether fluid that will be used for magical purposes.
