This modification represents the second implementation of a project to add the ability to tame axolotls in Minecraft. This version offers the same functionality as the original but features improved compatibility with other mods.
Main Features
The mod adds a taming system for the cute underwater inhabitants - axolotls. Now you can:
- Tame axolotls using tropical fish or buckets of tropical fish
- Breed tamed individuals to obtain offspring
- Watch as your pets follow you underwater and teleport to their owner
- Use axolotls as defenders - they will attack enemies that attack you or targets you have aimed at
Compatibility
The mod has been successfully tested for compatibility with the following modifications:
- Axolotl Bucket Fix
- Respawnable Pets
Compatibility with other mods that change axolotl behavior is also expected, although full testing has not yet been completed. If problems are detected, the developer asks to report them through the bug reporting system.
Portability
The mod is available for Fabric and can be ported to other platforms, including Forge, Neoforge, and Bedrock Edition. For Quilt, porting may not be necessary since Fabric mods usually work on this platform. When used in modpacks or when porting, it is necessary to credit the original development.
