Technical Utilities

Tech Utils is a client-side mod that enhances the functionality of popular tools Litematica and WorldEdit, while also adding numerous useful utilities for technical players.

Mod Configuration

To access mod settings, open Mod Menu and select this mod.

Main Features

Inventory Verifier Addon for Litematica

This tool significantly simplifies container content verification by displaying differences between expected and actual items in a convenient side-by-side comparison. The system highlights slots based on mismatch type:

• Light blue: missing item
• Orange: mismatched quantity or NBT data
• Magenta: extra item that shouldn't be present
• Red: wrong item type

When the verifyItemComponents option is enabled, the system will require full component matching and visualize them in item tooltips for easy comparison. Schematic creators can also use item predicates to flexibly define required properties.

Feature showcase:

This feature requires a server with Servux (or PCA Protocol for versions 1.20.1-4), NBT query permissions (such as operator rights), or singleplayer mode.

WorldEdit Selection Synchronization

The autoWeSync function automatically synchronizes WorldEdit selection with the active Litematica selection. After modifying a selection, the region synchronizes and you'll see a confirmation message above the hotbar.

Litematica Preview (for versions 1.21 and below)

The renderPreview option displays a 3D render of the selected schematic in the load menu. Works only with .litematic files.

Image Selection Dialog for Preview

Allows setting a custom image for schematic preview that will be visible to all players, even without this mod installed. To use, go to Schematic Manager in the main Litematica menu, select a schematic and ctrl + click the Set Preview button.

• Compact scoreboard (compactScoreboard) - converts large numbers to short format (1000 → 1k, 1000000 → 1M, 1000000000 → 1B)
• Automatic neighbor update disable in WorldEdit on login (autoDisableUpdates)
• Hotkeys for schematic placement rotation and mirroring (rotatePlacement and mirrorPlacement)
• /isorender selection command for quick rendering of current Litematica selection in Isometric Renders
• Hotkey to fill a container with the held item (giveFullInv) - supports boxes, chests, and bundles
• Material list refresh via hotkey (refreshMaterialList)
• Simplified block placement - makes Easy Place work as with full-sized blocks
