Tempban

A simple Forge mod that provides two new commands — /tempban and /tempban-ip. Functionally, they are similar to standard ban commands, but with an important addition: you can set a specific ban duration in months, days, and hours.

The mod utilizes an unused "expiration time" parameter for ban entries in the vanilla game. In standard ban commands, this field remains unused.

Command syntax:

/tempban <player> <months> <days> <hours> [reason]
/tempban-ip <address> <months> <days> <hours> [reason]

To lift a temporary ban, the standard /pardon and /pardon-ip commands continue to function.

Since the expiration field is hardly supported by Minecraft's original code, temporarily banned players may sometimes encounter minor issues when joining the server, such as occasional connection exceptions. For more serious malfunctions, it's recommended to report them in the issue tracking system.

Important: this mod is server-side only. Players do not need to install it on their clients.
