Tensura: Roguelike

This datapack serves as an addon for the Tensura: Reincarnated mod, completely transforming the gameplay into a roguelike experience with reincarnation elements.

Installation

Simply place the datapack files into the minecraft_folder/saves/world_name/datapacks directory. No additional configuration is required.

Gameplay Features

Resurrection After Death

Each death completely resets your progress. You start from scratch - races, abilities, and skills are reselected. Upon first entering the world, you have the opportunity to choose a race, and after each subsequent death, all parameters are randomized.

Prestige System

The integrated prestige system is tracked through achievements. After activating prestige, all your characteristics are reset to zero, and you return to the respawn point. At the same time, you gain the opportunity to re-select your race and obtain an additional unique ability (unless penalty restrictions apply).

Death Penalties

The system uses a death counter through the command /scoreboard players set #penaltyMax deathPenalty 30. If a player activates prestige with more than 30 deaths (this value can be changed using the specified command), instead of receiving a unique ability, half of the penalty deaths are removed. The system will be further refined to account for play session time in the future.

"True Majin" Mode

This feature automatically converts any chosen race into the Majin variant, preventing exploitation of advantages against Hinata. The function is active by default but can be disabled using the command /scoreboard players set .trueMajin gamerules 0.

Addon Compatibility

The datapack supports popular addons that add new races, including Ani's Tensura and Mysticism. When removing any of these addons, it's necessary to execute the command /function tr:addon/remove_addon_name for the system to function correctly.
