Tesla Modular Solars
This mod introduces modular solar panels to the game that can generate, transfer, and store electricity during daylight hours. The initial energy production level is low but can be significantly enhanced through specialized upgrades.
Upgrade System
Three types of enhancement modules are available:
- Increased energy generation power
- Enhanced storage capacity
- Improved energy transfer speed
Each upgrade comes in three tiers (T1, T2, T3). To install, simply hold the module and right-click on the solar panel. If you need to relocate the panel, don't worry about losing upgrades. When the panel is broken, all installed modules automatically return to your inventory.
Operating Conditions
Solar panels only function under specific conditions:
- Operate exclusively during daytime
- Don't produce energy during rainfall
- Require direct sky access (blocks above the panel block generation)
Additional Content
The mod also includes:
- New "Titanium" ore generating in the world
- Titanium dust, ingots, and blocks with OreDictionary support
- Durable armor with special properties
- A set of unique tools with unusual functions (recommend trying them out)
Technical Requirements
The mod requires Tesla API to function. It's also compatible with mods that support Tesla to Redstone Flux energy conversion.
