Main Features
This mod expands Thaumcraft 6 capabilities by adding unique interactions with other popular modifications and new useful items.
Magical Gauntlets with Alternative Energy Sources
Instead of standard vis energy, you can now use two new types:
- Caster's gauntlet operating on ember energy from Embers mod
- Caster's gauntlet using mana from Botania
Thaumcraft Bauble Visualization
The mod adds display for the following buffs (can be disabled in settings):
- Mundane and fancy belts
- Mundane and fancy amulets
- Focus pouch
- Vis stone and vis amulet
New Protective Elements
Pauldrons: Bauble for body slot, adding 2 armor points and 1 armor toughness.
Pauldrons of Repulsion: Knock back all nearby enemies when taking damage with 5-second cooldown, also provide protection.
Magical Artifacts
Malignant Heart: Amulet for charm slot, increasing attack damage by 50% but reducing maximum health by 50%.
Conjurer's Quiver: Bauble for body slot that can be charged with vis. Provides bows with magical arrows when regular ammunition is unavailable.
Vis Phylactery: Amulet working like vis amulet but capable of storing up to 300 vis for charging items. Charges only when at least 50 vis is available in the local aura.
Additional Functions
Brass Gear: Added only with installed Mystical Mechanics API.
Modified Alchemical Brass Recipe: Uses copper instead of iron (can be disabled in settings, works only with copper-adding mods).
Phantom Ink Compatibility: All baubles with visualization are compatible with phantom ink from Botania.
