Thaumic Speedup

This mod was primarily created for an upcoming large modpack, but we decided to share it with the entire community.

What does this mod do?

The functionality is aimed at deep optimization of Thaumcraft's internal processes, leading to significant performance improvements. This is essentially a "speed booster" that delivers real performance enhancements, not just empty promises.

Key features:

• Process offloading - most Thaumcraft operations that don't require direct interaction with Minecraft/Forge components are moved to a separate thread

• Aspect caching - the system saves aspect data for subsequent fast access

• Progressive acceleration - after the initial load, performance significantly improves thanks to caching

Performance impact

The effect is especially noticeable in large modpacks - the bigger the pack, the more noticeable the performance gain. Even in the minimal "vanilla + Thaumcraft" configuration, the observed acceleration is at least 50 ms.

Important: If you add mods that introduce new aspects, you need to delete the cache file in the caches/thaumicspeedup directory for their correct registration.

This optimization project will be a valuable addition to any Thaumcraft setups, ensuring a more comfortable gaming experience.
