Thaumic Tweaks

Thaumic Tweaks is a modification designed to address certain shortcomings found in the Thaumcraft mod, as well as provide the ability to customize some of its aspects. The current version primarily focuses on working with Vis Crystals and their generation mechanics in the game world.

Key Features

The mod includes numerous convenient options for detailed adjustments:

• Control over crystal generation in specific biomes and dimensions, including the ability to individually disable certain crystal types, such as fire Ignis crystals;
• Adjustment of the minimum and maximum heights at which Vis Crystals can spawn;
• Optional activation of an alternative visual model for Vis Crystals that more closely matches their graphic representation in the inventory;
• Fixed issue where items from research table slots would not transfer back to the player's inventory when Shift-clicking.

Regarding other ores added by Thaumcraft, the authors recommend disabling their generation through the mod's configuration file and then setting up their appearance using CoFH World tools.

It's worth noting that the unique Vis Crystal generation mechanism used in Thaumcraft cannot be fully replicated through CoFH World. This particular feature served as the main motivation for creating this mod.
