A Thaumon is a subatomic particle of magic

Thaumon is a decoration mod inspired by the blocks and textures from Thaumcraft. It adds building materials to the game: Greatwood, Silverwood, Arcane Stone, and Eldritch Stone, as well as several varieties of amber blocks. To get started, create Mutagen by processing an amethyst block in a stonecutter.

All textures are original creations (primarily edited vanilla textures since the author is not a professional artist) and are unrelated to any Thaumcraft assets except for the names.

With the release of Thaumcraft 7, this mod will likely become obsolete.

The initial version of Thaumon 1.0.x was created using MCreator. All mod elements are purely decorative blocks, including doors and similar objects, so there should be no issues with MCreator's questionable generated code.

The idea for creating this mod arose spontaneously after a discussion in the CoFH Discord server where users expressed regret about the lack of Thaumcraft's block palette in modern Minecraft versions. The author joked that they would happily implement this idea... using MCreator, and unexpectedly received positive feedback.
