The Beast From the Shadows

This modification adds a dangerous creature to the game that inhabits caves and ambushes players in the darkness. The beast will stalk you until it gets close enough to attack.

During the hunt, the monster can transform into a true shadow, becoming semi-invisible and gaining significant movement speed boost. This makes it an especially dangerous opponent.

When the creature approaches close enough, it can start screaming piercingly at the player, stare menacingly, or immediately proceed to active attacks.

One of the unique features of the Beast is its ability to dig tunnels through blocks, allowing it to more easily find and pursue its prey even in complex underground labyrinths.

Vulnerability to Fire

Despite its apparent invincibility, the monster has a main weakness — fire. Upon contact with fire, lava, or even under sunlight exposure, the creature dies almost instantly.

For protection, it's recommended to go to sleep immediately (if possible) or arm yourself with weapons with fire aspect and flame arrows.

The Beast spawns with high frequency in groups across all dimensions, significantly complicating world exploration and potentially creating additional difficulties (such as breaking Nether portals).
