Bottomless Mining Dimension

The Great Below offers an endless mining world with an atmospheric sculk theme. Originally, this modification was created for the MC Eternal 2 modpack on game version 1.20.1.

Important Notice

By default, the mod is NOT configured to work in other modpacks. To access the dimension outside MC Eternal 2, you need to manually configure the method of reaching the underground world.

Features and Secrets of The Great Below

The Underground Level uses music from the Ancient City in the base game, which perfectly matches the atmosphere and creates a sense of anxiety in players during exploration.

A secret music disc contains a custom track that can be found!

Dangerous Beauty

The Great Below is an infinite mining dimension with massive open caves and rich deepslate ore deposits. However, mining is accompanied by constant danger - the threatening Warden, which is better to avoid.

The dimension's name is a direct reference to the Nine Inch Nails composition "The Great Below", which inspired the creator to develop this mod.

Otherworldly Aspects

The mod's theme is designed to make players feel insignificant - as if they've ended up in a place they really shouldn't be and have peeked behind the curtain of a great mystery.

The Ghosts 1-1 composition by Nine Inch Nails was specially adapted for inclusion in the mod: added light reverb, additional distortion, slowed tempo, and converted to mono format for compatibility with the game's music boxes.

The developer plans to further expand the capabilities of this amazing dimension, but currently it's just a bottomless abyss with no visible end.
