The Monster Core
Summoning Blocks for True Challenges
The modification adds special blocks to the game that, when activated, summon a huge number of hostile mobs. There are two variants of such blocks: standard and enhanced, which summon more powerful opponents.
Wave-based Gameplay and Rewards
The block mechanics are based on a wave system - monsters appear in sequential waves, and after completing a certain number of waves, the player receives valuable rewards. Blocks that summon strong enemies offer more valuable prizes, but dealing with them is significantly more difficult.
The number of waves and the number of opponents in each wave depend on the selected difficulty level. Even standard blocks pose a serious threat, and enhanced versions present a challenge even on "Easy" difficulty.
Crafting and Infinite Potions
Blocks can be created on a workbench, although this requires expensive materials. For the standard block you need: 4 gold blocks, 4 obsidian blocks and 1 diamond block. The enhanced version requires 4 gold blocks, 4 purpur blocks and one standard summoning block.
The mod also adds infinite potions that are created from a Nether star and ordinary potions. These potions allow you to continue the waves of summoning blocks until the effect wears off, with the number of enemies continuing to increase after the original last wave.
