The One Probe

The One Probe (abbreviated as TOP) offers a more immersive alternative to WAILA. Unlike the original, the information tooltip doesn't appear constantly on screen, but only when you hold the probe in your hand (though you can configure it to show information permanently, just like WAILA).

Important! The One Probe is NOT a client-only mod! It must be installed on the server as well!

Compatibility: The mod works on versions 1.10.2 and 1.11.2 with a single JAR file and requires CompatLayer. For version 1.12, a separate file is available where CompatLayer is not needed.

The main function of the mod is to display on-screen information about the block you're looking at when holding the probe in your main or off-hand. By default, it shows the block name, source mod, and suitable tool for harvesting. If the block supports RF energy, it displays the current energy storage. While sneaking, it also shows a list of all items in the block's inventory (like a chest).

The mod features flexible settings, allowing you to disable any functions that don't suit your playstyle or modpack.

API for Developers

The One Probe provides a convenient API that other mods can use to add their own information. For example, Deep Resonance uses it to display data about crystals and liquids, and RFTools also supports integration.

Modpacks

The mod can be freely used in any modpacks.
