The One Probe Fabric

The One Probe (abbreviated as TOP) offers a more immersive alternative to mods like WAILA or its modern counterpart WTHIT. Unlike them, the information tooltip doesn't appear constantly, but only when you're holding the special probe in your hand. However, the mod can be configured to display information all the time, just like WAILA/WTHIT.

Important! The One Probe is not a client-only mod! It must be installed on both the client and the server.

The main function of the mod is to display on-screen information about the block you're looking at when holding the probe in your main or off-hand. By default, it shows the block name, the mod it belongs to, and the tool required for harvesting it. Additionally, it displays energy levels if the block supports Tech Reborn Energy system. When sneaking, it also shows a list of all items in the block's inventory (like in a chest).

The mod features flexible settings that allow you to disable any functions that don't suit your playstyle or modpack.

The One Probe also provides an API that other mods can use to add their own information. Details can be found in the project repository.
