SCP-035, The Possessive Mask

The "The Possessive Mask" mod introduces players to a new dangerous adversary from the SCP universe. This concerns object SCP-035, known as The Possessive Mask.

Dangerous Discovery

This cursed mask can appear in the world in two ways: it can be lying on the ground or already worn by hostile SCP-035 carriers. If you defeat such a carrier, the mask will drop, but be careful - it will begin to attract you. If you get too close, the mask will automatically attach to your head, and it will be impossible to remove.

Loss of Control

Once you put on the mask, you fall under its control. You become a possessed being, gradually losing your will. Although you'll receive a speed effect, your vision will be limited. The mask's power comes at a terrible price - it slowly kills its wearer, dealing constant damage until death. After the player dies, the mask falls to the ground, waiting for the next victim.

SCP-035 Carriers

SCP-035 carriers are most likely the first thing players will encounter. These mobs already wear the mask and represent aggressive, fast, and dangerous opponents. Illagers, villagers, and zombies are particularly vulnerable to the mask's influence - if regular versions of these mobs get too close to the mask, they will be captured and turned into new carriers.

Defensive Tentacles

When SCP-035 takes damage, it can summon defensive tentacles. These tentacles create a protective barrier, making the mask more difficult to destroy.

Important Information

The mod was created using MCreator and requires Geckolib installation for proper operation. Only one instance of SCP-035 can exist in the world at a time. Mobs spawn using special spawning conditions, which may cause console messages - this is normal behavior.

It's recommended to play on the newest versions of Minecraft, as not all MCreator features are available or the same across different game versions. For example, version 1.19.2 doesn't support some capabilities that are present in version 1.20.1.
