The Reckoning: Afterlife
The Reckoning: Afterlife completely changes the concept of death in the game. When a character dies, they are sent to an afterlife dimension where they must fight to return to life.
After death, you find yourself in this challenging dimension where to return you must complete dungeons and perform special rituals. You will need to overcome three unique dungeons, collect the necessary items, and create the World Rift to escape.
Key Features
- High-Stakes Death: After dying, you are transported to the afterlife world where the only way forward is to find a way out.
- Procedurally Generated Dungeons: Each time different dungeons are created with varied enemies, puzzles, and environments, ensuring a unique experience in every playthrough.
- Ritual-Based Escape: Collect items from each dungeon to perform rituals that open the path back.
Escape Process
- Complete the Dungeons: Clear all the dungeons in the afterlife world.
- Gather Ritual Components: After completing each dungeon, you will receive ritual items for creating the Cursed Eye.
- Create the Rift: Combine 8 portal fragments with the Cursed Eye to create the World Rift and escape.
Battle through the challenges of the afterlife, complete the rituals, and create the path for return - or remain trapped forever.
