The Tool Tooltip Tool
Tired of uncertainty when choosing tools in Minecraft? Hard to understand which pickaxe is better — Metalurgy Tartarite or Galacticraft Desh? What about tools from Thermal Expansion, Mekanism, or multifunctional paxels?
This mod solves the problem once and for all by adding informative tooltips for tools. Now you can see maximum durability, efficiency, harvest level, and enchantability right in the item description.
Main Features
- Display of key tool characteristics: durability, efficiency, harvest level, enchantability
- Support for various tool types: pickaxes, shovels, axes, paxels
- Work with multifunctional tools (displays information for each type)
- Version 0.4.0 added support for swords, armor, bows, hoes, and other items
Controls
In versions 0.3.0 and older, information is displayed when the SHIFT key is held In version 0.4.0 and newer, data is shown when advanced tooltips are enabled
Compatibility
The mod works with tools created according to vanilla principles but does not support tools from Tinkers' Construct
Version Requirements
- Version 0.4.0: Forge 1.9 version 1887 and newer
- Version 0.3.0: Forge 1.7.10 version 1448 and newer
- Version 0.2.0: Forge 1.7.10 version 1208 and earlier than 1448
Installation
The mod is only useful when installed on the client:
- Versions 0.2.0 and older cause crashes when loaded on the server
- Versions 0.3.0 and newer do not work when loaded on the server
The mod can be freely used in modpacks, notification of the author is appreciated but not required.
