This Mod Start With One Block (TMSWOB)

This mod was created during the process of learning Minecraft mod development, so its content will change as the author continues learning.

Main Mod Elements

The mod starts with a basic block called Block of Origin, which became the starting point for the entire project.

Tool and Armor Enhancement System

Enhanced Netherite Equipment

The mod adds powerful enhanced versions of netherite tools and armor that can be crafted by surrounding standard netherite items with Origin Stone. Each enhanced equipment features a leveling system:

• Armor: Defense increase with each level, toughness every 3 levels, knockback resistance every 5 levels, and health every 10 levels
• Sword: Attack damage increase with each level, attack speed every 3 levels, and luck every 10 levels
• Pickaxe: Dig speed increase with each level, luck every 2 levels, and mining fatigue immunity at level 20
• Axe: Chop speed increase with each level, attack damage every 3 levels, and attack speed every 5 levels
• Shovel: Dig speed increase with each level, ability to find treasures from level 5 (5% chance) with probability increase every 5 levels
• Hoe: Ability to till 3×3 area from level 1 (toggle with Shift+RMB), chance to find bones and bone meal from level 2 (10%) with probability increase every 3 levels

Special Tool Abilities

• Enhanced pickaxe gains ability to automatically place torches from level 10
• Enhanced shovel has special treasure table with different rarity loot

Other Mod Elements

Magical Items

• Origin Infuse Apple - cures zombie villagers without requiring weakness, turns zombie piglins back to normal, and returns witches to villager form
• Origin Stone and related building blocks (stairs, slabs, buttons, etc.) that glow in the dark
• Origin Shard - basic crafting resource

Mobs

• Bean - first mob in the mod, spawns rarely in plains, forests, jungles, and taiga, also through spawn eggs and commands

Resource Acquisition

• Block of Origin generates in the Overworld at Y-level 5-15
• Requires iron pickaxe or better with Silk Touch enchantment to obtain the block
• Drops dirt when mined without enchantment
• Origin Stone can be obtained by smelting Block of Origin in a blast furnace

Technical Features

For testing purposes, the command /tmswob setlevel 1-100 is available to set enhanced equipment levels.
