TIS-VS

TIS-VS is an integration addon that combines the functionality of Valkyrien Skies 2 and TIS-3D modifications. This extension introduces several new modules for TIS-3D into the game, as well as adds a new serial protocol for data transmission.

For full functionality with most new modules that output half-precision numbers, it is highly recommended to use TIS Advanced - this will allow proper processing of such values.

New Modules

The modification adds the following specialized modules:

• Altitude Module - measures current height position
• Distance Module - calculates distances between objects
• Gyroscopic Module - tracks angular position and orientation
• Angular Velocity Module - measures rotation speed
• Velocity Module - determines linear movement speed

New Serial Protocols

An additional data transmission protocol is also introduced:

• Framed Map - special protocol for working with framed maps
