🔧 Tool Disassemble

Have you ever created a Tinkers' Construct tool and later regretted it? Perhaps you want to get your materials back. The Tool Disassemble mod is designed exactly for such situations!

🛠️ Main Features

Simply take the special disassembling tool in your main hand and right-click on a configurable block (by default, this is smooth stone). The system will automatically disassemble the first suitable tool from your hotbar and return:

• All tool components (head, handle, bindings, etc.)
• Used upgrade materials (e.g., redstone, diamonds, netherite)
• Overslime (converted into regular slime balls)

⚙️ Configuration

Through the configuration file config/ToolDisassembleConfig.toml, you can customize:

• itemDisassembleBlacklist: - materials from this list will not be returned upon disassembly (by default includes "minecraft:quartz")
• toolDisassembleBlacklist: - tools from this list cannot be disassembled
• disassemblingBlockSet: - list of blocks that can activate the disassembly process (by default includes "minecraft:smooth_stone")

⚠️ Important Notes

• Modifiers with multiple recipes (e.g., redstone dust vs redstone block): the tool does not remember which specific variant you used, so the mod applies the first registered recipe. This can sometimes lead to a small loss of materials (e.g., you used dust but get a refund in blocks).

• Tools are disassembled based on the first disassemblable item in the hotbar, scanning occurs from left to right.

• If your hotbar contains only disassemblable tools that are on the blacklist, you will receive an error message.

• Cannot be disassembled: Plate Shield, Ancient Tools (such as Swasher, Battlesign, Melting Pan, etc.), Traveler's Suit, Slime Suit.

The mod is inspired by Tinkers Disassembler (1.18.2). Enjoy greater freedom when working with Tinkers' Construct tools!
