Torch Bandolier

Torch Bandolier - Smart Torch Holder

This mod introduces a specialized torch belt that allows storing a large number of lighting devices and conveniently placing them in the Minecraft world.

Crafting and Configuration

First, you need to create an empty torch belt. Then combine it with a suitable torch in the crafting table to set the type of stored lighting devices. The mod supports standard vanilla torches and stone torches from Silent Gear mod. Other modifications can add additional supported light source types.

Placing Torches

Using the belt is similar to working with a regular stack of torches - simply right-click to place. If the belt contains torches, one will be placed at the selected location. In creative mode, torches are not consumed.

Extracting Torches

To remove torches from the belt, place it in the crafting grid. This allows extracting torches in full stacks and temporarily disables the auto-refill function.

Automatic Refill

The belt periodically checks the player's inventory for suitable torches and automatically replenishes its supplies. This function can be disabled by sneaking and using the belt (Shift + RMB). The current auto-refill status is displayed in the item tooltip.
