Total Dragon
Total Dragon is a Fabric mod that fundamentally changes the Ender Dragon battle in Minecraft. It introduces new mechanics and features that make the confrontation with this powerful boss more intense and engaging.
Mod Features
Modified Obsidian Towers
All obsidian towers around the dragon have undergone changes. They appear normal externally, but once you attack an End crystal, their true nature is revealed. This helps track which towers have already been destroyed. However, be cautious - destroying any of them will release formidable phantoms, adding extra challenge to the battle.
Falling Out of the End
If you fall beyond the boundaries of the End dimension, you'll end up in the Overworld. You'll receive the message "[Player] fell out of the world," but don't worry - your items can be retrieved in the Overworld.
Invulnerability to Beds
Your trusty beds will no longer work as weapons against the Ender Dragon. Regardless of whether the dragon is sitting, landing, or attacking, using a bed won't harm it. Prepare to use more traditional tactics to defeat this formidable opponent.
Deadly Dragon Breath
The Ender Dragon's breath attack has been enhanced - it's now significantly larger and more destructive. Surviving its breath attacks will require quick reflexes and precise maneuvering. Additionally, a special death message (built-in but unused in vanilla Minecraft) will be displayed, emphasizing the danger of the dragon's breath.
Custom Phases
Overhauled Flight Paths
The flight path algorithm has been completely rewritten. Although the new paths still have some quirks, they're definitely an improvement over the original ones.
Additional Enhancements
Total Dragon includes various additional improvements:
- Enhanced Hitbox: The Ender Dragon's hitbox has been carefully refined to provide more precise and immersive combat.
- Changed Knockback: The knockback effect from the Ender Dragon has been enhanced, making the battle more dynamic and engaging.
These and other changes contribute to enriching the gameplay experience. If you have operator permissions, the /ready command allows you to start the End battle with suitable equipment for thorough mod testing.
Compatibility
Total Dragon is balanced for gameplay with the Combat Roll mod. It's recommended to use this mod or similar alternatives for a fair and enjoyable experience when facing the Ender Dragon.

Please note that Total Dragon is still in the alpha stage. Bugs and unexpected behavior are possible. Be cautious when using this mod and consider creating backups of your world to avoid potential data loss.
