Traveler's Backpack - Unique Backpacks for Adventurers

Traveler's Backpack is a Minecraft modification that adds various functional backpacks to the game. This project continues the legacy of the famous Adventure Backpack by JavierDarkona, and starting from version 1.16, all textures have been completely redesigned to match the modern game style. The mod significantly expands the capabilities of standard backpacks with numerous new features.

Basic Usage Features

Backpacks can be opened by holding them in the main hand and right-clicking. They can be equipped on the back using the "Equip" button in the backpack interface. When the backpack is worn, access to it is achieved by pressing a key (default B). Compatibility with Curios/Trinkets/Accessories allows equipping the backpack simply by placing it in the "Back" slot. Backpacks can be placed in the world as blocks, making their storage accessible for use with hoppers and pipes. When equipped, the backpack is displayed on the character's back.

Upgrade System

The mod offers 5 upgrade levels: Leather, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite. Each subsequent level increases storage capacity, the number of upgrade slots and tool slots (configurable for each level). Upgrading is done at a smithing table using the pattern: Leather + Backpack + Tier Upgrade Item.

Functional Upgrades

There are 7 different types of upgrades available: Fluid Tanks, Crafting Table, Feeding, Magnet, Auto-collection, Void Storage, and Jukebox! Functional upgrades can be installed in the backpack inventory and removed at any time. The sleeping bag can be used without resetting the spawn point. Convenient tool slots allow quick equipment changes. The Hose is a useful tool for managing fluids in the backpack.

Storage Organization

The system offers special functions for organization: slots can be marked as unsortable or stacks can be memorized in slots, ensuring storage order is maintained. Sort, Quick Stack, and Transfer buttons allow efficient item management.

Incredible Customization

Choose your unique style from over 45 special backpacks inspired by various creatures and blocks. The standard backpack can be combined with any dyes during crafting to create an individual appearance.

Special Abilities

Some special backpacks provide unique abilities. They can be toggled on/off using the switch in the backpack interface or by pressing a key (default unassigned). If any ability doesn't suit your playstyle or modpack, it can be easily disabled in the settings.

Configuration Settings

Through the mod's configuration, many parameters can be changed: number of storage, upgrade, and tool slots; enabled functional upgrades; integration with Curios/Trinkets/Accessories; backpack abilities; backpack loot from chests and mobs; and much more!
