True Secret Rooms - Now Stable Version!
Inspired by the Original Secret Rooms Mod!
This project is designed for Fabric and offers functionality similar to the well-known Secret Rooms mod, but with an important advantage - full compatibility with blocks from other mods. Unlike some alternative solutions, our mod works correctly with any modified blocks.
How to Get Started
Begin by creating camouflage paste - surround clay with any dye. Then you can craft transparent camouflage ghost blocks or full camouflage blocks using scaffolding or wool respectively. Full blocks are used to create all other elements: stairs, hatches, and other decorative objects.
The real magic begins with the Staff of Camouflage - a powerful tool that requires significant effort to create. You'll need a trident, prismarine, eyes of ender, and a heart of the sea. Although obtaining this item presents challenges, its capabilities are practically limitless.
Using the staff, you can save the texture of any block by simply right-clicking on the desired surface. Then this texture can be transferred to any side of a camouflage block. If you hold Shift and right-click in the air, rotation mode activates, allowing you to rotate any face of the block.
Additional Features
To lock a block's current state, use honeycomb - simply right-click on the block with this item. This action "seals" the block, preventing any subsequent changes. The honeycomb is not consumed in the process.
Important Information
This is a mod for Fabric - do not confuse with Forge. Developed for version 1.17 - do not attempt to use in other versions.
IMPORTANT: The mod is incompatible with Sodium due to rendering system peculiarities. Canvas works but only displays one face, making its use impractical. Optifine/Optifabric functions, but strange culling effects may occur. Be careful with shaders. Support for these mods is not planned due to rendering complexities.
