Twilight Construct
The Twilight Construct mod expands Tinkers Construct functionality by adding eight unique materials from the Twilight Forest world that can be used to create and enhance tools, weapons, and armor.
Main Materials and Their Properties
Fiery Material:
- Melee weapons: ignites targets and smelts drops
- Ranged weapons: sets targets on fire
- Armor and shields: ignites attackers
Knightmetal:
- Weapons: reduces movement speed but increases damage
- Armor: decreases movement speed but deals thorn damage
Steeleaf:
- All parts: slowly repairs itself if user holds steeleaf in hand
- Armor: deals thorn damage
Ironwood:
- All components: gradually repairs itself in Twilight Forest dimension
Phantom Material:
- All parts: possesses phantom armor properties
- Can only be melted using fiery blood
Naga:
- Available only through crafting, cannot be melted
- Weapons: increases attack/mining/draw speed with low durability
- Armor: boosts player movement speed with low health
Carminite:
- Used only for handles and grip elements
- Weapons: makes owner invisible
- Armor: extends invulnerability time
Red Thread:
- Used only for bindings, bowstrings, and mail
- Weapons: causes target to glow red for 3 minutes
- Armor: makes attackers glow red for 3 minutes
Additional Features
- Added liquid form of fiery blood/tear
- Alloying recipe for fiery material with 3 nugget bonus, requiring blazing blood/fiery blood as fuel
- Melting recipes for armor shard clusters and raw ironwood with 3 nugget bonus
- Ability to melt twilight equipment and special items such as minotaur axe and maze breaker for recycling excess items
- Transformation of giant obsidian into 64 regular obsidian blocks
- Fiery blood/tear can be used as smeltery fuel, providing an alternative to blazing blood and allowing fiery item melting without Nether access
