Streamer Vs Chat
Streamer Vs Chat
Your viewers can now become true puppet masters! The mod's interval timer activates random commands from Twitch chat or Discord channel every 20 seconds, completely submitting the gameplay to their will.
Setting up platform integration
Twitch activation: Get an OAuth key through Twitch's authentication website. For Discord, you'll need a bot token that you can create through Discord's developer panel.
Here's a tutorial video by Muutation that will help you understand the setup process:
In-game connection commands:
/ttv key <OAuth key> | /discord token <Bot token>
/ttv connect | /discord connect
Once you receive the connection confirmation, your viewers will be able to interact with your gameplay. The /ttv disconnect
and /discord disconnect
commands allow you to disconnect from the platforms at any time.
Configuration files
Main config location: .minecraft/config/twitchmod-common.toml
Twitch channel name: Specify the channel identifier from your Twitch channel URL (the text after twitch.tv/).
Editing advice: To avoid encoding issues, use the standard Notepad instead of Notepad++. Configuration changes are applied automatically while the game is running without requiring reconnection.
Command blacklist: You can exclude commands from the random selection pool by adding them on new lines in the file: .minecraft/config/command-blacklist.txt
Security system features
Authorization keys are saved in encrypted .suck
files (Serialised Unreadable Connection Key) for default sessions, eliminating the need to re-enter them with every launch. Be careful — don't share these files with other users!
In-game commands and details
Command help: Type /help ttv
or /help discord
for detailed information about commands.
