Unhealthy Dying
Do you want death in Minecraft to have more serious consequences than just losing items and experience? Then this mod is made specifically for you. Each player death leads to a reduction in their maximum health, making survival an increasingly challenging test.
Configuration Settings
The mod offers a flexible configuration system according to your preferences:
- minimumHealth: Determines the minimum health threshold below which the player cannot fall
- healthPerDeath: The amount of health deducted from the player after each death
- reducedHealthMessage: When enabled, notifies the player about their new maximum health after respawning
- HealthSetting: Regulates whether health reduction applies individually to each player, to all participants, by teams, or through the FTB Teams system (requires FTB Utilities installation)
Health Recovery System
For those who prefer a balance between punishment and the ability to correct mistakes, there is an option to regenerate lost health:
- regenHealth: Activates the ability to restore maximum health by killing certain mobs
- maxRegenned: Limits the amount of health that can be regained this way
- regennedHealthMessage: Notifies the player about the increase in maximum health after successful recovery
- regenTargets: Allows configuring which specific mob kills restore health. Entry format: modid:mob_name,health_amount,kill_count. For example, [:,1,20] means restoring half a heart for every 20 kills of any mobs, while [minecraft:*,1,10] means for every 10 kills of vanilla mobs
Administration Commands
For manual management of player health, a special command is available:
