Universal Electricity - Project Archive

This is an archival release of the once popular Universal Electricity project. It's important to understand that mod development has completely ceased, and the authors do not provide technical support. Use it at your own risk.

What was this mod about?

Universal Electricity was developed as a universal API for power systems, designed to unify various energy standards including BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft 2, and Redstone Flux. The developers offered a system that was easy to use yet highly customizable for energy transmission.

Why was the project discontinued?

Over time, the project was integrated into Resonant Engine and then ultimately abandoned in favor of the Redstone Flux API. Some elements of the codebase can be found in the NOVA, EDX, and Voltz Engine projects, with the latter representing the current version of the API supported by the development team.
