Universal Enchantment Splitter

This datapack opens up new possibilities for working with enchantments in Minecraft. With it, you can extract magical properties from enchanted books and items, transferring them to new carriers.

Splitting Enchanted Books

To extract a specific enchantment from a book, place it in the first slot of a regular chest. Make sure the second and third slots remain empty. Then stand on the chest and execute the command /trigger split_enchantments. The system will automatically extract the first enchantment in alphabetical order and create a separate book for it in the second slot. In the third slot, you'll find the original book without the extracted enchantment.

Removing Enchantments from Items

To completely remove all magical properties from any item, place it in the first slot of a chest, leaving the other slots free. Execute the command /trigger remove_enchantments while standing on the chest. The function will not only clear the item of all enchantments but also reset the repair cost in the anvil.

In the second slot, you'll find your item without magical properties, and in the third slot - an enchanted book containing all the removed enchantments.

Support for Non-Standard Levels

Using mods or datapacks that add enchantments with levels above vanilla? Universal Enchantment Splitter supports all levels up to 255, including enchantments that normally don't have levels, such as multishot.
