About the Data Pack

Universal Stone Blocks (USB) is a data pack that thoroughly reworks and expands crafting recipes related to stone. The main concept is to enhance the functionality of stone blocks and simplify the creation of walls, slabs, and stairs from various stone variants.

Recipe System

The pack introduces significant changes and additions to the existing crafting system. You can now directly craft mossy versions of cobblestone and stone brick walls, stairs, and slabs without needing to first obtain mossy blocks. Many standard recipes have been adapted to work with any unprocessed stone blocks, including the creation of stone tools, redstone components, brewing stands, and other useful items.

I (AlexDev) have been developing mods and game modifications for several years. If you enjoyed this data pack, you can follow my projects and support them.

Compatibility and Support

The data pack will be updated after each full release of Minecraft as quickly as possible. Backporting to previous versions is done only by community request and is limited to versions 1.20.x — earlier versions of Minecraft are not supported.

If you know of Fabric mods or Bukkit/Spigot plugins that add new types of stone compatible with this data pack, please let us know, and a corresponding extension will be created.
