UpdateFixerUpper

This mod is specifically designed to ensure safety when updating other modifications. Its main purpose is to prevent game world corruption and automatically replace missing items with their equivalents.

Usage Instructions

Item replacement settings are configured through the ufu.txt file, which is automatically created in the configuration folder during the first game launch with the mod installed. You can also create this file manually.

The operation is based on paired replacements: each line in ufu.txt contains information about replacing an original identifier with a new one. When the game encounters an item or block with the specified old identifier in any DefaultedRegistry, UFU automatically replaces it with the corresponding new identifier.

Note: Despite the similarity in names, the mod does not use DFU (Data Fixer Upper) technology. Initially, such integration was planned, but this idea was abandoned during development, although the original name was retained.
