Username Remap
Mod Overview
The Username Remap modification allows server administrators to automatically change usernames when players connect to a Minecraft server. The mod operates on the Fabric platform and offers various methods for reassigning player nicknames.
Installation
To install, you need to:
- Download the mod file from the developer's official sources
- Place the downloaded file in the
modsfolder of your Minecraft client or server
Configuration Settings
The configuration file is located at config/usernameremap.json. Through this file, you can configure various username change rules. The mod supports:
- Replacing specific names with others
- Setting a global default username
- Limited integration with the ModMenu mod (only for fallback name settings)
Using the Mod
After installation, the mod makes no changes by default. To activate its features, you need to configure the configuration file according to your player name reassignment requirements.
