Vanilla Builders Extension

The Vanilla Builders Extension mod expands Minecraft's building capabilities by adding missing elements for standard blocks. Now you can create stairs, slabs, walls, fences, and gates for almost any vanilla material, using the textures of original blocks for complete visual consistency.

What the Mod Offers

Complete Set of Building Elements

The mod adds all possible variants of building elements for a huge number of blocks:

• Stairs, slabs, walls, fences, and gates for: blue ice, bone, clay, coal, concrete, diamond, emerald, glass, gold, grass, gravel, hay, honey, iron, lapis, leaves, logs, magma, mycelium, obsidian, red sand, sand, slime, snow, terracotta, wood, wool, and many others

• Special elements for version 1.16.4: ancient debris, basalt, polished basalt, crying obsidian, gilded blackstone, hyphae, lodestone, netherite, nylium, quartz bricks, shroomlight, stems, target

Flexible Combinations

Some blocks receive not all elements, but only specific combinations:

• Only walls, fences, and gates: dark prismarine, polished andesite, polished diorite, polished granite, prismarine bricks, purpur, quartz, smooth quartz, smooth red sandstone, smooth sandstone, stone

• Only fences and gates: andesite, blackstone, bricks, cobblestone, diorite, end stone bricks, granite, mossy cobblestone, mossy stone bricks, polished blackstone, polished blackstone bricks, prismarine, red nether bricks, red sandstone, sandstone, stone bricks

Configuration Settings

Crafting

• Concrete crafting: ability to create concrete blocks from concrete powder and a water bucket
• Grass crafting: creating grass blocks from tall grass and dirt blocks

General Settings

You can enable/disable entire categories of elements:

• Stairs
• Slabs
• Fences
• Walls
• Gates

Options for Version 1.12

• Override vanilla recipes: replacing standard Minecraft recipes for stone slabs and nether brick fences
• Special grass crafting: creating grass stairs and slabs
• Mushroom crafting: creating red and brown mushroom blocks from corresponding mushrooms
