Various Types - Character System for Minecraft
The Various Types mod introduces an innovative character sheet system that allows players to deeply customize their gameplay through combinations of different datapack objects.
Creating a Unique Character
Upon first entering the world, you're greeted with a character creation screen where you need to choose a race and compatible templates. Each choice brings diverse configurable changes to your hero's characteristics!
Race Selection
Begin your adventure by choosing a race:
- Orkins - hardy survivalists inhabiting the depths of the Nether
- Criochs - descendants of the forgotten uprising against the Enderman Empire, freely moving through the End dimensions
- Muckies - aquatic traders specializing in finding sunken treasures
Template Customization
Further personalize your hero using templates that modify the chosen race. Perhaps the gods gifted you with the ability to fly, or deep magics transformed you into an insect-like form that easily climbs walls. Or maybe your ancestors adapted to an amphibious lifestyle on a scenic coastline, acquiring reptilian features.
Each template has specific acquisition conditions - choose wisely, as selecting one may make another unavailable!
Gameplay Features
Don't want to choose? Click "Randomize" and trust the will of the RNG gods! View your character sheet anytime through the preview function in the editor or by right-clicking the character sheet item. This item even lets you peek at other players' sheets!
Flexible Configuration
If the standard options don't suit you, every aspect of the mod can be adapted to your server community's needs using easy-to-understand datapack files!
