Vestigate

A modification that provides tools for investigating the contents of datapacks and mods in your Minecraft world.

Main Features

Only one command /vestigate is added, which works in two modes:

• When used without parameters, it shows all datapacks and mods that add crafting recipes. The results are displayed in chat as clickable links that can be used to access detailed information.

• With a pack identifier /vestigate packId, it displays all items added by a specific datapack or mod, as well as the associated crafting recipes.

Integration with Polydex

If you have the Polydex mod installed, clicking on any item from the search results automatically opens its crafting recipe in the Polydex interface, making the process of learning about new items extremely convenient.

What is it for?

Modern datapacks have become significantly more complex and content-rich. They often add numerous items and mechanics that are not always well-documented. This modification solves the problem of missing documentation by allowing players to independently explore all the content added by installed datapacks and mods through analysis of their crafting recipes.
