Vestiges of the Present: World of Challenges and Mysteries

This unique mod introduces a system of Challenges created by a powerful unknown entity whose story you'll uncover through lore progression.

The Challenge system works seamlessly with any mods in your modpack and solves a major balance issue - when some mods become overpowered and cheap while others require significant investment for little return. Thanks to Challenges, all elements of your modpack find purpose, and completing them rewards you with valuable Vestiges.

What are Vestiges? These are powerful tools for PVP and PVE that provide unique capabilities unavailable in other mods. Their nature and purpose are revealed as you explore the lore.

Global Leaderboard System

The global ranking system includes all players with internet connection who follow the rules. The leaderboard is accessible in any world - both in singleplayer and on servers!

Underwater Content

Cruel Mode

Want a real challenge? Type /vestiges enableCruel and discover what bosses experience! In this mode, damage from hunger and drowning becomes unblockable, and monsters have a 1% chance to spawn as Empowered.

All bosses from any mods gain x4 health and damage, 100 armor points and toughness, 90% damage reduction, health% regeneration over time, and SHIELDS WITH OVER SHIELDS! Protection from any damage is guaranteed, but what distinguishes shields from over shields? Find out via /vestiges help :)

All values and boss lists are customizable to your preferences. Cruel mode also grants access to powerful drops from mobs and bosses, allowing you to apply negative enchantments to items and exceed their limits.

If some bosses or mobs in Challenges aren't summonable? You can configure any challenge to have a lower completion maximum! All challenge requirements continue counting as before, just completing the challenge sooner.
