Village Masquerade: Dress Like a Villager and Earn Discounts
With Village Masquerade, you can fully blend in with the peaceful town's local population. Don clothing characteristic of each village profession—from the farmer's wide-brimmed hat to the librarian's elegant toga. These outfits won't protect you in battle, but they will secure the goodwill of the villagers and the most favorable deals at the market.
The key gameplay mechanic is the discount system. Each piece of clothing provides a small reduction in prices when trading with a villager of the matching profession, and wearing multiple pieces amplifies this effect. Most outfits are acquired by reaching the master level in trade with the respective profession's master. Some sets are harder to obtain—they can drop from rare mobs like illagers or iron golems, or be found hidden in chests scattered throughout settlements. This mod allows you to collect outfits, participate in cosplay, or simply delight your chosen world-trader.
In the wardrobe you will find:
- Villager clothing for every profession, each providing a trade discount.
- Armorer costume, including protective goggles and an apron.
