Villager Contracts

About the modification

This modification for Minecraft version 1.12.2 introduces a special item into the game that allows players to manipulate the professions and specializations of village residents.

How to use

To apply the Villager Contract, rename it at an anvil, then interact with a villager while holding the renamed contract. Upon successful execution, the villager will change profession and their trade offers will refresh.

The list of available contract names can be seen by holding the Shift key while hovering over the Villager Contract item.

Settings

• dumpVillagerInfo - activating this option records information about the professions and specializations of all registered villagers to the log
• entityBlacklist - list of entities for which interaction with the Villager Contract is disabled
• validContracts - "whitelist" of permitted names, professions and specializations used by the Villager Contract. Modded villagers are easily added if they are correctly registered in Minecraft Forge.
