Villager AI - Artificial Intelligence for Minecraft Villagers

Remember when Fortnite added Darth Vader as an AI NPC back in May 2025? Now similar technology is available in Minecraft! The Villager AI mod transforms ordinary villagers into intelligent conversational partners with artificial intelligence.

This is a server-side extension for the Simple Voice Chat plugin that gives villagers the ability to hear your speech, form meaningful responses, and communicate with you using their own character-adapted voices!

Important Information About the First Release

This addon requires the Locrow AI mod, which is currently in early development and supports a limited set of systems. Before installation, be sure to check the list of compatible systems on the Locrow AI page!

During the first launch of the mod, significant loading time will be required as necessary packages are installed. In future versions, this process will run in the background.

When loading a world, the addon loads the AI model into memory, causing the screen to freeze at 100% until the process completes. This is normal - just wait for the world to load. In subsequent updates, this operation will also be moved to the background.
