Villainous Difficulty Multipliers

This modification implements a comprehensive system for adjusting game difficulty, inspired by Halo's mechanic approach. A wide array of options becomes available for players to customize their gaming experience.

Currently, the mod features 23 complexity modifiers - some missions become more challenging while others, conversely, become simplified. Future updates are planned to include additional options for increasing game difficulty.

Modifier management is handled through console commands. In single-player mode, cheat functionality must be enabled, while on servers, second-level operator privileges are required. An alternative method involves adjustments through configuration files located in the server directory.

Management Commands:

• /vdm help - displays a comprehensive list of available commands and their purposes
• /vdm list - shows all accessible difficulty modifiers and keywords for group management
• /vdm activelist - presents currently active modifiers
• /vdm check - provides detailed description of how a specific modifier functions

For second-level operators only:

• /vdm activate - activates selected modifier
• /vdm deactivate - deactivates selected modifier

Modifier List:

Aging - Animal and village inhabitant lifespan becomes limited - after the fourth reproduction cycle, they perish from old age.

Fury - Pillagers, skeletons, strays, and witches attack with significantly enhanced frequency.

Black Eye - Sustained damage prevents natural health regeneration until a successful melee strike is landed on an enemy.

Master Blacksmith - Improved anvil craftsmanship reduces the likelihood of tool damage.

Ammunition - Creepers detonate upon death regardless of the fatal cause.

Festivity - Village residents may organize celebrations on arbitrary days.

Exhaustion - Sleep deprivation leads to gradual weakening and eventual fatality from depletion.

Combustibility - Ignited entities remain ablaze until water extinguishment or death occurs.

Fuel Economy - Next-generation furnaces consume fuel with four times greater efficiency.

Fortification - All hostile mobs receive enhanced health reserves.

Karmic Retribution - Creatures commonly farmed for sustenance have a 5% chance of explosive detonation when attacked by players.

Kinetics - Modern technological advancements enable the accumulation of kinetic energy from received impacts, subsequently discharged during personal attacks to add up to 66 points of damage.

Pandemic - Entities capable of inflicting damage may transmit Immortuos Calyx infection, even without being carriers themselves. Requires corresponding mod installation for functionality.

Rested State - Slumber provides therapeutic restoration of player health.

Transformation - Standard zombies instantly morph into drowned variants or zombie villagers, skeletons adopt frozen forms, and creepers maintain perma-charged states.

Delicate Skin - Heightened vulnerability increases damage received by 50%.

Aegis - Critical health triggers automatically and immediately into full recovery, enabling swift combat return while maintaining mortality statistics.

Volatility - Creeper detonations and ghast fireballs feature expanded destruction ranges for substantial terrain alteration.

Vegetarianism - Meat product consumption induces player nausea based on ethical or health considerations.

Toxin - Cave spiders deliver minor poisoning at lower difficulty levels but add withering effects on standard and hard modes. Regular spiders gain poisoning capabilities with reduced duration.

Warranty - Tools may undergo replacement following service life expiration.

Wild Magic - Player attacks trigger unpredictable magical phenomena with beneficial or hazardous outcomes.

Perversion - Select neutral entities exhibit unexpected aggression toward players.
