Votifier is a specialized Forge mod that serves the important function of notifying Minecraft servers about votes conducted on various game server lists. This tool creates a lightweight server component that constantly awaits connections from server monitoring services and uses a simplified protocol to transmit information about each vote. Security First
To ensure maximum protection against unauthorized access, Votifier employs powerful RSA encryption with a 2048-bit key. During initial installation, the mod automatically generates a unique pair of cryptographic keys intended exclusively for your server. When you register Votifier with a supporting service, the system will request your public RSA key to encrypt vote data packets before sending them. The security level is so high that even the mod's creators cannot hack it.
How the Notification System Works
When receiving information about a new vote, Votifier activates a special VotifierEvent through the MinecraftForge event bus system. This allows other mods and plugins to respond to user votes, for example, by awarding players in-game bonuses through economic systems like iConomy or performing other programmed actions.
