This mod provides a functional minimap with mob radar capabilities. Developers can extend its functionality through a dedicated API by creating custom plugins. The map supports two color schemes: classic "vanilla" based on material colors (similar to the in-game map functionality), and a more accurate scheme that considers averaged colors from the current texture pack.
