Walkers - Forge
The Walkers mod fundamentally changes the game mechanics related to mobs and nighttime, adding a completely new zombie apocalypse system to Minecraft.

Main Features
Infection System
The mod introduces a progressive infection with two development stages. Any creature, including the player, can be infected through contact with the undead.

Reanimation After Death
Infected creatures rise from the dead as walkers after dying. This mechanic works for all entities in the game, not just the player.

- Regular Walkers
- Rotters
- Biters
- Variant Walkers
- Zombie Pigs
- Zombie Cows

Random Characteristics
Each walker has unique characteristics - strength and speed, making every encounter unpredictable.

Sunlight Resistance
Walkers and zombies no longer burn in sunlight, significantly complicating survival during daytime.
"Wasted" Biome
A new biome is added, completely populated by the undead and representing a destroyed, decaying environment.
Survivor Mobs
Passive survivor mobs appear, who form groups and can help fight the undead both in villages and in the wild.
Custom Animations
All walkers received completely redesigned animations:
- New walking animation
- Sprint animation
- Attack animation
- Death animation

Achievements
The mod includes 7 unique achievements that can be obtained even in hardcore mode.

New Items
- Infected skin and flesh - infect the player when consumed
- Walker flesh clothing - crafted from infected materials

Replacement of Standard Mobs
Regular zombies and zombie villagers are completely replaced by new types of undead.
How the Mod Works
- Infection chance from any undead mob attack is 70%
- When infected, there's a 30% chance to get the adrenaline effect
- All infected creatures turn into a random walker after the infection completes or premature death
- Walkers attack: villagers, survivors, players, pigs, cows, and horses
- Zombie cows and zombie pigs also attack chickens

Recommendations
For maximum immersion, it's recommended to play on "Hard" or "Hardcore" difficulty instead of standard "Peaceful", "Easy", and "Normal" modes.
Compatibility
⚠️ Currently the mod is only available for Forge 1.20.1
