This extension introduces to the game a new character - a nomadic fur trapper, various types of fur pelts, and a new profession among villagers.
The Fur Trade
The wandering trapper hunts furry animals in the vast taigas and tundras of Minecraft. This character appears exclusively in cold biomes, similar to the wandering trader, randomly spawns near you with a wolf companion.

Trading Assortment
You can purchase various pelts from the trapper in exchange for emeralds or trade them for valuable items like lanterns or clocks. Available pelt types:
- Beaver
- Mink
- Marten
- Fox
- Snow fox
- Polar bear (placeable)
Important information about fur acquisition
Fox, snow fox, and polar bear pelts can be obtained by killing the corresponding animals. White foxes inhabit the game! The drop rate is quite low, but increases when killing more mobs.
Fur Trade Among Villagers
Local residents exhibit significant demand for quality furs. You can resell purchased pelts to a fur specialist (furrier), who generously pays with emeralds for quality goods. An experienced specialist is willing to pay more than ten emeralds for each mink pelt!
tThe furrier's workplace is a pelt scraping log, created from shears and a spruce log. The profit from fur trading can completely eliminate the problem of emerald shortage.

Hunter's Armament
By default, the hunter uses a bow. However, with ewewukek's musket mod installed, he will be armed with a musket! It is recommended to exercise caution during confrontation - the hunter can release dogs and open fire.
