Why Does My Glass Sound Like That

Three years ago, developer Dinnerbone tweeted an interesting idea: the sound of breaking glass should change when using a pickaxe with the Silk Touch enchantment. This would prevent situations where the player thinks: "Oh no, I took the wrong tool!"

This client-side mod solves exactly this problem. Now when mining glass with a silk touch pickaxe, you'll hear a completely new, pleasant sound that won't hurt your ears and will create a comfortable gaming atmosphere.
